Band Member Biographies
Marialuisa has been performing professionally since the age of thirteen and has worked with some of Australia’s leading entertainers. Marialuisa has a wonderful voice and over the years Marialuisa has been fortunate to study under some of the most highly respected voice coaches in the business. She has been a special guest judge at various talent competitions, having won several contests herself in previous years such as the Be Your Best Talent Quest- 2003. Marialuisa’s friendly personality, experience and incredible voice bring a special quality to every Musicology performance.
Charlie has been performing for many years and has extensive experience playing with a diverse range of bands. His proficiency as a bass guitarist, guitarist and vocalist has led Charlie to play many different styles of music at a variety of functions and special events. As bass player, Charlie plays an integral part in contributing to Musicology’s live sound.
Tony has been playing drums and percussion for the past 30 years. His playing experience varies from performing with local club bands, reception bands, and corporate bands for a variety of events and functions. Tony has performed around Australia and toured internationally with large bands and orchestras. Tony’s versatility and experience as a drummer provides Musicology with an energetic live sound.
Serge has professional experience in all types of corporate functions, weddings, receptions, floorshows and studio recordings across Victoria. Proficient keyboardist and sequencer, Serge also provides backing vocals. Serge will ensure the total production and sound of Musicology is of the highest quality and looks forward to working with you!
Steve has been playing the guitar for most of his life and began singing as a teenager while performing in many school musical productions. Steve has been teaching music since 1991 and he has worked, in a business capacity, in the music industry for some of Australia’s most successful recording artists. Steve has a lot of live experience, especially playing all styles of music with many reception/function bands and has worked as MC (Master of Ceremonies) at many events.
